A new concept of alpargata

One Touch is a 100% Spanish brand created recently by Marta de la Torre García de la Rasilla. Inspired by the transformation of the most traditional alpargats into a current and versatile footwear suitable for any occasion.

One Touch is conceived as a new concept of comfortable and stylish footwear different from what already exists.

Each collection is designed in Madrid and is manufactured artisanal in Spain with high quality recycled skins, carefully selected natural and sustainable materials

We bet on a timeless alpargata that can be used at any time of the year and at any time of the day. Our idea is to create a different and comfortable complement perfectly suited to each occasion. The perfect combination between comfort, elegance and style without losing an old and traditional technique such as the alpargata craftsmanship.

With our simple and essential line designs we want to create basic cabinet backgrounds to reach every woman making them comfortable and themselves.

The combination of Tradition and design, rustic and urban, comfort and style, are concepts that we make compatible and complementary fundamental in each collection.

For a few years now, our collections are available at different points of sale throughout Spain and we are now launched with our own online shop with limited editions and many exclusive online models.

In each store, you will also find limited editions with custom designs, as each customer chooses the model, material and color he best likes. From front, skin in different colors and textures to python, cow hair, charol, etc. Some with finishes in pedestries, glass and Swarovski elements. Even cords, ribbons and color soles. Our production is made on request for professionals.

We believe, defend and value the artisanal and traditional of this process, always respecting the environment and is a fundamental part of our brand.

We believe in "Lenta Fashion," every step, every elaboration and every part of the process is prepared with great affection for months in different villages of Alicante such as Elche, Petrer and Elda pioneers of Spanish shoes worldwide known for their great artisanal work.

History of the alpargata

We will not discover here the virtues of jute as traditional material and withinfinity of applications from very distant timesand present in all great Mediterranean cultures and civilizations.

We will not surprise anyone either if we describe their qualities, theirresistance and flexibility, its obvious character of natural fiber simple, even humble but of great dignity and with the aesthetics of the authentic.

We will not provide an unexpected data if we say that in summeris the material that best transpiresallowing the footwear to not be a real silicon.

What maybe not everyone knows, though it is known, is thatthe very Spanish Alpargata, rural and labour footwear, which over the years has become an object of worship among the most sophisticated firms, understanding that fashion also rescues the best of tradition,was the footwear used by the Spanish armyboth in the Moroccan War and in the subsequent and cruelly Civil War, after concluding that there was no better footwear in the world for these scenarios, in which extreme conditions and circumstances made the spartum come out definitively victorious on the battlefield, and that as today,its quality / price ratio remains victorious.
